FRANKFORT,IL – Eight athletes from Lincoln-Way North High School made their futures evident yesterday, as they officially signed letters of intent or celebrated their commitment to attend colleges across the country for their sport. Feb. 4th marks the first day that high school seniors could sign scholarship papers for the following sports: Football, Men and Women’s Soccer, Water polo (Mens’ only), and more. The letter of intent is a binding agreement between the student-athlete and a college, by which the student-athlete agrees to attend the college for one academic year.
The following student athletes have made a commitment to compete in athletics at the collegiate level:
- Emmanuel Pilatos – will be attending Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, IA for Boys’ Bowling
- Kyle Pijarowski – will be attending Wichita State University in Wichita, KS for Boys’ Bowling
- Nina Tholl – will be attending Aurora University in Aurora, IL to play Softball
- Jake Abramowicz – will be attending Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI to play Football
- Ryan Arthur – will be attending Washington University in St. Louis, MO to play Football
- Ben Bajic – will be attending Concordia University in Mequon, WI to play Football
- Adam Sylvester – will be attending North Central College in Naperville, IL to play Football
- Jake Chudzik – will be attending Loras College in Dubuque, IA to play Volleyball
